Start here
Install it and start playing.
Download, open MultiPilot and work through the four steps in Party Setup: licence, games, controller, then Start party. Ten minutes, most of it waiting for the game to load.
Licence
Free plays one character. For Lite or Full, press Enter license key, top right. Try 2P Free, also top right, starts the free 3-hour 2P Party Trial. Already using MultiPilot? Press Import my MultiPilot setup to bring your players, settings and licence across.
Choose your games
MultiPilot finds Path of Exile 2 and sets it up as Client 1, Steam or standalone. Tick 2 characters on this client for couch co-op on one game. Press + Add another game for a second or third game; those use the standalone PathOfExile.exe, because Steam runs only one game. Save the account email and password for each standalone game.
Plug in a controller
Xbox, PlayStation, 8BitDo, GameSir and Flydigi controllers work. Make sure Windows sees it first. Playing without one? Choose Keyboard and mouse.
Start party
Press Start party. When the prompt says READY, press A (or E on the keyboard). On the character screen, pick a character and hold A. Repeat for each player.
Check it worked
Move each character and make sure only that one moves. Switch players with F1–F4, Page Up / Page Down or a controller stick click, and stop everything with Ctrl+Shift+F12. Stuck? Press Support file and send it to us on Discord.
