What multiboxing means in Last Epoch
Multiboxing is playing several game clients at the same time, each signed in to its own account, as one party. Last Epoch parties hold up to four players, which is why MultiPilot supports one to four clients.
Doing it by hand is hard work: you alt-tab between windows, followers get left behind at every portal and loot piles up where nobody is looking. MultiPilot puts the whole party under one input so you can simply play your main.

How MultiPilot turns four clients into one party
- One desktop, one input. Play your main with keyboard and mouse or a controller. Nothing needs a second PC, extra Windows users or virtual machines.
- Switch in one press. D-pad or arrow keys cycle clients; the character you pick swaps into your main window. Up returns to P1.
- Followers keep up. Smart Follow holds your chosen distance, follows through zones and portals, and uses catch-up skills when someone falls behind.
- Every build fights. Give each follower its own skills, mana limits, flask threshold and recovery settings.
- Loot gets noticed. Followers collect what your loot filter shows, and LP alerts make the important drops impossible to miss.
How many clients should you run?
Start with two. Each client is a full copy of Last Epoch, and Steam lists 16 GB of memory and an SSD as recommended for a single copy, so every extra client adds to the load on your PC.
When two clients feel smooth, add a third and then a fourth. Lower the in-game graphics settings and use MultiPilot’s shared Client FPS limit to keep things responsive.
A typical session
- Open MultiPilot, sign in to each Steam account and launch the clients.
- Pick an online character in each client, form a party and meet in one zone.
- Play your main. Followers move, fight, drink potions and collect loot around you.
- Need to trade, craft or manage a follower’s inventory? Switch to it, do it, and press Up to return to P1.
- Split up in a big zone? Press Down or ~ and the party warps back to you.

How many characters can I multibox in Last Epoch?
Up to four. Last Epoch parties hold four players, and MultiPilot runs one to four clients on one PC.
Can two accounts share one copy of the game?
No. Every Steam account needs its own copy of Last Epoch, and Steam Family Sharing isn’t available for the game. You only need one installation on your PC.
Can I use offline or Solo Character Found characters?
Followers need to join your party, and in Last Epoch only online characters can party. Offline and Solo Character Found characters can’t join one.
Do I need several monitors?
No. One display works: the character you control sits in your main window. If you have a second display, Arrange followers can split P2–P4 across it.
Do all characters have to be in the same party?
Yes. Followers stay with MAIN inside your party and zone, and move with you through exits and portals.
Does MultiPilot also work with Path of Exile 2?
Yes, as a separate product. PoE2 MultiPilot supports up to six characters and has its own plans.
