Set up Client 1
In Party Setup, MultiPilot finds Path of Exile 2 and sets it up as Client 1, Steam or standalone. Tick 2 characters on this client to put two characters on it.
MultiPilot setup
Up to three clients, in the right order.
Set up each game once in Party Setup, then press Start party. MultiPilot walks you through the players one at a time.
Add a second or third game
Press + Add another game. Extra games use the standalone PathOfExile.exe, because Steam runs only one game. Tick 2 characters on this client on any game that should carry two characters.
How many games you need
One game holds up to two characters. Three or four characters need two games, five or six need three. Full covers up to six characters on three games.
Save an account per game
Each standalone game needs its own account. Save its email and password in Party Setup and MultiPilot signs it in for you.
Pick a window layout
Stacked Mode is the default and the easiest on your PC. Split screen and multi-monitor layouts are there if you want to watch everything at once.
Leave Steam on its default
If a client runs through Steam, open Path of Exile 2 Properties, then Controller, and choose Use default settings. Not Disable Steam Input.
Start party
Press Start party. When the prompt says READY, press A (or E on the keyboard), then pick a character on the character screen and hold A. Repeat for each player.
Check the layout
Confirm every character responds before you turn on following, the radar or any automation. Switch players with F1–F4, Page Up / Page Down or a controller stick click; Ctrl+Shift+F12 stops everything.
