Play your main the way you already play Last Epoch. MultiPilot adds a handful of simple shortcuts for switching characters and regrouping the party.
Your main, your way
By default your main (P1) uses keyboard and mouse. Prefer a gamepad? Turn on Physical controller for MAIN in the Clients section and choose your controller. Last Epoch has full controller support, so you play exactly as you normally would.
Followers use their own private virtual controls. You don’t need a controller per character, and your own keyboard, mouse or pad only drives the character you’re focused on.

How switching works
Press Right to move control to the next client. That character swaps into your main window, and only those two windows trade places, so your layout stays predictable. Press Left to go the other way, or Up to jump straight back to P1.
The client you leave carries on following. Automatic movement resumes as soon as you focus someone else.
While a menu is open, the D-pad keeps Last Epoch’s normal controller navigation. Shortcuts only switch characters during gameplay.
Custom bindings
Change the focus shortcuts under Smart focus in the app. You can bind keyboard keys, mouse buttons or mouse wheel directions, and decide whether cycling wraps around. Warp bindings live under Smart follow.
Action mirroring
Want followers to copy an action? Action mirroring shares the actions you select while movement and inventory controls stay local to each character.

Do I need a controller for each character?
No. Followers have built-in virtual controls. You only use your own keyboard and mouse or one controller.
