Can I open the same official installation twice?

No. Ultimate uses two different official client installations.

Which player numbers belong to each client?

Four-player mode uses P1/P2 on Client 1 and P3/P4 on Client 2. Split two-player mode uses P1 and P2 across the two clients.

Is a second computer required?

No. Both clients run on one Windows PC.
