Multiplayer Ritual farming

Every party member gets a reason to care about the Ritual altar.

Forbidden Rites changes Ritual party economics by giving party members individual Tribute and their own reward choices. The opportunity is real, but only when the party remains fast, alive and organised.

The short answer

Use one carry to preserve encounter speed, durable followers for control and support, and a clear offer-review routine after every Ritual. Track personal Tribute and rewards per character, then subtract the time required to position, revive, review offers and clear inventories.

01
Confirmed by GGG

Tribute and spending are individual inside the party.

GGG states that defeated monsters generate Tribute and party members can individually earn their own Tribute and spend it on rewards of their choice. No one has to surrender the only reward choice to the instance owner.

This does not prove that every encounter produces identical Tribute or reward value for every character. Build the farm around actual results after launch.

02
One arena, several ledgers

The extra value must beat multiplayer health and coordination cost.

Personal Tribute is powerful because it can create several independent decisions from one completed encounter. The cost is higher enemy durability, formation overhead and the time needed to inspect more reward screens.

Measure net value per minute, not reward count. A two-minute solo Ritual with one strong offer can beat a five-minute full-party Ritual filled with low-value choices.

03
Control the circle

Give the carry space and place durable roles near the centre.

  • Enter with every follower close and responsive.
  • Keep fragile roles away from predictable ground pressure.
  • Prefer persistent skills that continue contributing while focus changes.
  • Re-form after revives, portals or a move to the next Ritual site.
04
Six-player blueprint

Use different builds to solve damage, crowd pressure and reward handling.

Carry

Clear and route

Keep the encounter moving.

Boss

Unique damage

Finish named or empowered enemies.

Control

Crowd stability

Freeze, stun, pin or distract.

Defence

Party survival

Reduce repeated follower deaths.

Support

Persistent value

Buff, debuff or add durable damage.

Collector

Loot workflow

Gather assigned drops after the altar closes.

05
Do not let rewards stall the map

Use one repeatable decision rule for every character.

  1. 01

    Check immediate upgrades

Take gear or currency that fixes the active build now.

  2. 02

    Estimate liquid value

Prefer rewards that can be priced and moved quickly.

  3. 03

    Account for defer cost

Do not defer everything and trap Tribute in weak future choices.

  4. 04

    Record notable offers

Keep enough data to compare party sizes after the event starts.

  5. 05

    Resume formation

Return control to the carry only after every intended character is ready.

06
Avoid fake multipliers

Individual Tribute is not permission to promise six times the profit.

  • Do not assume equal Tribute without testing.
  • Do not ignore increased encounter time.
  • Do not price rewards from different market snapshots.
  • Do not include dead or absent characters as successful reward participants.
  • Do not force six clients when two or four produce better net value.
