Recover the gap

Fall behind. Sprint back into formation.

How it works

Move faster only when the gap requires it.

Catch-up has its own start and release thresholds so sprinting does not rapidly toggle around one distance.

01

Choose the distance

Set when catch-up can begin for the follower.

02

Use clear terrain

Allow sprint recovery on sufficiently clear route segments.

03

Prioritise movement

Pause selected mirrored casts while the follower closes the gap.

04

Resume normal follow

Return to regular breadcrumb routing after recovery.

See it working

Catch-up is part of the route, not a teleport

The follower uses recorded local movement, clear terrain and configurable thresholds to recover distance before normal follow resumes.
