For two local characters, Findigo Standard coordinates one couch co-op client. For up to four, Findigo Ultimate assigns four independent player slots across two different official clients.
Native co-op is the foundation. Findigo is the control layer.
PoE 2 supports controllers and local couch co-op. GGG staff have also said that using one controller for two couch co-op characters should be okay when it does not use input mirroring or breach the Terms of Use.
Findigo builds on that foundation. It gives one physical controller a clear way to lead, focus and coordinate multiple independently assigned player slots instead of sending every input to every character.
Two characters are easy. Four characters are where it gets interesting.
One character
Controller tools, loot automation and radar for normal solo play.
Two characters
One PoE 2 couch co-op client with P1 and P2.
Up to four characters
Two different official clients with P1/P2 and P3/P4.
Lead, follow, focus, return.
- 01
Lead the formation
Your main character handles normal navigation and clear.
- 02
Let followers contribute
Configure Smart Follow and only the supported actions each follower needs.
- 03
Focus a character
Use Smart Focus when a player needs direct movement, menus or mechanics.
- 04
Return to the party
Resume formation control when the focused task is complete.
Four slots create room for four genuinely different jobs.
A two-character pair usually has to combine several jobs. A four-character party can separate the carry, amplifier, control and utility roles. That makes the party stronger, easier to reason about and far more entertaining to customise.
Ultimate's compact formation is the important part. Four characters only outperform two when they stay close enough to contribute, so the product is built around follow, catch-up, transition handling and direct recovery control.
Carry
Drive the map and finish packs.
Amplifier
Add a different buff or debuff layer.
Control
Slow, freeze, stun or distract.
Utility
Collect, recover or solve mechanics.
Use the supported layout.
- Windows 10 or 11 and one supported physical controller.
- Standard uses one official PoE 2 couch co-op client.
- Ultimate uses two differently configured official clients: Steam + Epic, Steam + standalone or Epic + standalone.
- If Steam is used, leave PoE 2 Controller override on Use default settings.
- Confirm every focused character moves independently before normal play.
Two clients maximum, with no input mirroring.
Current GGG staff guidance limits one computer to two clients and prohibits input mirroring. Ultimate fits that two-client ceiling and distributes P1/P2 to one client and P3/P4 to the other.
