Start with content that combines a fixed entry cost, manageable six-player difficulty and genuinely personal rewards. Trial of Chaos is the clearest first experiment because each player is documented as receiving an individual Trialmaster reward set. Dense mapping, rarity parties and selected bosses should be tested against a solo baseline rather than assumed to scale linearly.
The carry must preserve speed before extra characters can add value.
A six-character setup is not automatically six times a solo run. Monster life rises with party size, characters can fall out of proximity, transitions consume time and many rewards are shared rather than repeated for every player. The opportunity appears when the main character already clears the scaled encounter comfortably and the additional characters remain alive, nearby and eligible for rewards.
Think in expected value per hour: personal rewards collected by all characters, plus shared drops, minus entry cost, consumables, failed runs and the time required to move, recover and sort the party. If run time or failure rate rises too far, the larger party can lose even when the reward screen looks busier.

Trial of Chaos has the clearest personal-reward structure.
The community-maintained Trial of Chaos documentation states that every party member receives an individual set of Trialmaster reward offers. A player who fails loses that player's accumulated offers while the trial continues for the remaining party. This creates a real reason to test more eligible characters against one Inscribed Ultimatum entry.
Optimise around the cumulative room offers first. Do not assume every boss drop, Fate piece, Trialmaster exclusive or corrupted wager is duplicated six times. Those reward classes need separate logging because some are encounter drops or instance-level outcomes rather than the individual offers shown between rounds.
- Begin with keys and modifiers the carry can clear consistently at 6P scaling.
- Record each character's offered rewards at rooms 1–10 instead of only the final altar total.
- Track which characters fail and whether the remaining party preserves run speed.
- Log Fate pieces, Soul Cores, currency stacks and Trialmaster drops as separate reward categories.
- Compare 1P, 4P and 6P over enough runs to smooth out offer variance.
Dense maps are attractive only while proximity and clear speed stay high.
Party play increases monster life and applies party item-drop bonuses when players are nearby. The exact class-by-class multiplier is patch-sensitive, and current community material presents conflicting shorthand alongside the in-game party table. Treat the bonus as something to measure, not a fixed +500% currency assumption.
Breach-, Delirium- and pack-density-focused maps are logical candidates because a powerful carry can convert many nearby monster kills into a large sample quickly. They stop being attractive if followers miss proximity, visual load lowers clear speed, deaths interrupt the formation or six inventories create too much sorting overhead.

A rarity-focused finisher can be useful when the game's current rules apply the killing player's rarity modifiers. The six-player advantage is the ability to dedicate a character to that job while other slots provide damage, control, defence and collection.
This strategy is extremely balance-sensitive. Verify the current item, Presence, culling and rarity interactions before investing, and compare the specialised character's slower or less reliable kills against an ordinary high-damage composition.
- Separate ordinary clear from the high-value rare or unique finishing workflow.
- Confirm which character receives kill credit in your actual build combination.
- Measure valuable drops per hour, not only increased rarity on the character sheet.
- Keep a non-rarity composition as the control group.
Expensive entry helps only when rewards are personal or meaningfully party-scaled.
A boss with one shared drop pool can become harder at 6P without creating six reward streams. The fixed entry cost is economically interesting only when each eligible character receives a meaningful personal reward, quest result, invitation outcome or other independent value.
Build a reward-rule checklist before testing: who owns the instance, who can receive the reward, whether dead characters remain eligible, whether the drop is allocated or personal, and whether repeat characters can claim it again. Reject the strategy quickly when the answer is one shared drop plus slower kills.
Calculate expected net value from recorded runs.
For each party size, record entry cost, total cycle time, successful completions, personal reward value by player, shared-drop value and consumables. Price volatile items from the same market snapshot and keep raw item counts so the calculation can be refreshed later.
Use: expected net per hour = completed runs per hour × (personal rewards + shared rewards − entry cost − consumables), adjusted for failed-run frequency. Report the sample size and range rather than presenting one lucky run as the expected outcome.

The fastest farming party is not necessarily six damage builds. Extra roles should reduce risk, preserve proximity, finish valuable enemies under the correct modifiers or remove loot and transition interruptions from the carry.

Start with Trial of Chaos because the individual reward-offer rule creates a clear hypothesis. Then test dense mapping, followed by a rarity composition and only then fixed-entry bosses whose reward rules have been confirmed.
- Run a small 1P baseline using the same carry and comparable entry items.
- Repeat at 4P to identify the first major proximity, survival or performance bottleneck.
- Add Client 3 and P5/P6 only after the 4P loop is stable.
- Use Currency Tracker and an external worksheet, but verify high-value pricing manually.
- Publish measured ranges and assumptions; refresh the page after balance or reward changes.
