How it works
With a controller on P1, flick the right stick and P1 keeps running in that direction. It steps around obstacles, takes stairs and ramps, fights what it meets, picks up loot and then carries on. Flick again to change direction.
Taking over
Move the left stick, click the mouse, open a menu or your inventory, change zone or switch character, and autopilot stops. Right-stick click (town portal) still works while it runs.
Keeping the party together
Followers follow as usual. Turn on Warp followers further than so anyone left behind rejoins, and optionally warp followers back after they finish looting during autopilot. Warping characters stop the moment they summon their portal and set off again the moment they click it.
Tip: set Warp followers further than to 5 m or less and followers keep up by warping, so they don’t need movement speed while autopilot carries them.
FAQ
Questions,
answered.
Does autopilot need a controller?
Yes. It uses a right-stick flick on the physical controller that controls P1.
Will P1 fight while on autopilot?
Yes. P1 uses its own Auto combat setup while autopilot runs, then carries on in the same direction.
Can I turn it off?
Yes. Untick “Right-stick flick autopilot (P1)” under Auto combat.
