Level together
Followers share your route, your zones and your fights. They stay within your follow distance, use flagged traversal skills to catch up, and pick up the loot you allow.
With Followers only fight after P1 uses a skill (on by default), the party runs past monsters with you and joins in the moment you attack — ideal for pushing quickly through campaign zones.
Quick setup for levelling
| Setting | Suggestion |
|---|---|
| Follow distance | Short, so followers stay in your fights |
| Auto combat | Tick each follower’s main skills as they unlock |
| Catch-up | Flag a traversal skill and any temporary buffs |
| Warp followers further than | On. At 5 m or less followers keep up by warping, so they don’t need movement speed |
Tips
- Add new skills to each follower’s combat setup as they level — check every few zones.
- Stuck follower? D-pad Down or ~ warps followers to the character you control.
- Carrying low-level alts? Set Warp followers further than to 5 m or less — they keep up by warping, no movement speed needed.
- On a controller, try the Flick autopilot for long runs between objectives.
FAQ
Questions,
answered.
Do followers get experience?
Yes — they are real characters in your party, playing alongside you in the same zone.
Do I need to set up combat for every follower?
Yes. Each character has its own Auto combat skills, timing, mana and range.
Can I start with fewer clients?
Yes. Choose one, two, three or four clients in the app, and add more whenever you like.
Can I use offline or Solo Character Found characters?
Followers need to join your party, and in Last Epoch only online characters can party. Offline and Solo Character Found characters can’t join one.
