The basics
- Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit.
- Memory: each client can use several gigabytes. Plan for about 8 GB per client, plus Windows.
- CPU: four clients keep a modern processor busy. More cores help.
- Graphics: every client renders its own window; smaller follower windows cost less.
MultiPilot settings that help
- Client FPS — the frame-rate limit for the character you control.
- Other clients — a lower limit for followers (40 FPS by default) frees up your PC.
- Give the client you control CPU priority — keeps your mouse, keyboard and controller responsive when the PC is busy.
- Arrange followers — place P2–P4 in smaller windows on a display you choose.
Start small
Run two clients first, check your frame rate and memory, then add a third and fourth.
Everything is under Smart focus & performance in the app, and you can change it while playing.

Can I start with fewer clients?
Yes. Choose one, two, three or four clients in the app, and add more whenever you like.
Do I need several monitors?
No. One display works: the character you control sits in your main window. If you have a second display, Arrange followers can split P2–P4 across it.
Why is my main character laggy with four clients?
Lower the Other clients FPS limit and keep “Give the client you control CPU priority” on. Both are under Smart focus & performance.
