Mix your roles
Last Epoch’s five classes — Sentinel, Mage, Primalist, Acolyte and Rogue — each have three masteries. A party that mixes a sturdy front line with ranged damage handles more situations than four copies of one build.
| Role | Examples to consider |
|---|---|
| Front line | Sentinel (Void Knight, Forge Guard, Paladin) |
| Ranged damage | Rogue Marksman, Mage (Sorcerer, Runemaster) |
| Pets and minions | Acolyte Necromancer, Primalist Beastmaster, Rogue Falconer |
Builds that suit followers
- Simple rotations — a few reliable skills are easier to automate than long combos.
- Minions and companions keep fighting on their own and add damage without extra inputs.
- Sustain — followers can’t react to everything, so life, defences and potions matter more than on your main.
Set up each character’s combat
Give every character its own Auto combat setup: which skills to use, how often, how much mana to keep, and whether each skill is Melee (4 m) or Ranged (14 m). Target first sends the party at bosses and rares before trash. More in Followers that fight.
Your main can be anything — you’re playing it. Put the builds that are easiest to automate on your followers.
